This bracelet is definitely a nice addition and replacement for the rubber strap that came with my Epix2. The shade of the Ti bracelet matches perfectly with the Ti bezel. The DLC will hopefully hold up as well as the watch head. It’s well applied. When sizing the bracelet be mindful that mine had a bit of thread locker on the screws. I’m not 100% sure if the screw bars are Ti but they are a-magnetic.Only suggestion for product improvement I could give would be to add ratchet adjustability to the clasp…but that would add cost, which might not be something others would be willing to pay for.I absolutely adore this strap…but it’s short. Garmin clearly made a cost-cutting move to make this strap shorter than usual to save costs on a premium material (Horween leather). That upside is that it *is* real Horween leather, so what exists of this strap is absolutely worth every penny. If you don’t know what Horween leather, or have ever had the pleasure of owning it, do yourself a favor and just get it. I’m really nitpicking here, but I don’t like the obvious skimping here. They charge $50 for pure silicon straps that cost $1 to make - they couldn’t even give me a full length piece of leather for this price? That does mean that, unfortunately, if you have a very large wrist, this strap will NOT fit you! I have a medium-large wrist, and I’m already at the second to last notch. It’s a shame because it is such a handsome strap, the leather feels amazing, and it’s beyond comfortable, but their cost-cutting move means that a whole demographic (anyone with big wrists) cannot experience this luxury. This $300 band is nice. It looks to be made of titanium (it’s non magnetic, it’s all I could verify). Since this is an official Garmin product, I’ll take their word for it.Packaging:The Garmin watch box was sealed by 2 clear pieces of tape. All of the watches I purchased the, fenix 6 and 7 had boxes that were sealed with the same type of clear tape. The Garmin watch box was no different. The band is made in China as indicated on the box.Contents:Included in the box is a small screwdriver and the watch band.Shortening the band:It was easy to remove links to shorten the band. The included screwdriver made removing the links really easy. Everything was straight forward.Band:The color of the band matched my carbon gray fenix 7 exactly. It has a nice dark gray matte finish. The links are thick. The thing that stood out the most to me was the clasp. It has large buttons and locks with authority. It’s not coming off your wrist unless you unlock it. The edge of the band has a nice bevel to it.The beveled edges are lighter than the middle of the watch that’s not from a reflection. The $300 question:Is it worth the three hundred dollar price tag? If you are OCD and can’t stand mismatched things then it might be worth it to you. Believe me, I spent hours looking around for a band that matches the watch. This was the only option I found. Everything else out there is black. You may be better off getting the black color watch and select from a multitude of nice black metal bands at a fraction of the cost. It’s not like there is a huge difference between the carbon gray and black fenix watches. There isn’t. People aren’t going to say, “nice carbon gray color…” because they really won’t be able to tell.Let’s face it, any other “quality” band can do the same job for much, much less. If you’re not OCD, skip this band and get a nice band and pocket the $250. If you are OCD, then bite the bullet and get this band. It is a nice band.Picture #1:Left to right: Fenix 7 solar/sapphire, carbon gray with carbon gray titanium vented band; Fenix 6 pro, black with black silicone band. The picture is very close to how the colors are in real life. Yes, the Fenix 7 screen is slightly larger than the Fenix 6 screen…news to me. You cannot use a “6” screen protector on a “7” even though they are spec’d at the same size.Note: The locking clasp still has the plastic film on it. I did not remove it yet. The word “Garmin” is laser etched on the clasp.Carbon gray is a very hard color to photograph. The lighting has to be just right so you photograph the actual color and not just a reflection of the light mixed with the color.I hope this helps. .I actually prefer this watch band over the one that came preinstalled on my Epix 2. I feel like it holds my Epix firmer to my wrist, while simultaneously feeling less constricting.I ordered "flame red" and according to the pictures it should be a nice bright red.But what I actually got was more like burnt orange. I like the color but it's definitely not red.Why did I wait to so long? Snagged a great deal on Amazon after determining that the seller was an authorized Garmin retailer. I have really chubby wrists, so I always worry that a band won't be long enough. This was more than long enough and feels great. Didn't add too much weight. Just wish I had sprung for this 10 cheap bands ago....The fabric is strong but tends to unravel…Review is for the leather band. The leather seems to be of good quality, with the added benefit of being raw/natural, which means it’ll readily accept a leather dye to make your own color. It can also be polished to the sheen level of your choice.Enjoy!Genuine itemMakes me chuckle when people write a review an complain about the price DON T BUY IT THENIn terms of quality, you get what you pay for. A good product that looks like it will wear in, rather than wear out. However, I believe the colour description and images are misleading. 'Chestnut' conjures an image of a rich brown, or perhaps a slightly weathered tan. However, this strap is more like ORANGE! Perhaps you might describe it as an orangey-tan colour, or an aged burnt orange, but whatever the case, Chestnut it is not.I intend to keep the strap, even though the colour is not what was expected, its still a nice strap and I expect the colour will tone down through use. So, in summary - a great strap, but be aware of the colour of what you are buying. If I was rating this strap on the quality of the product, it would be 5 stars. But the colour mismatch will be a deal-breaker for some, so 3 stars it is.excellent quality bracelet. I bought a £65 Titanium bracelet from another supplier ( from Germany) first. I couldn't live with it - it was very poor quality. I was a bit sceptical about spending another £165 on a second bracelet, but having read the positive reviews, I decided to go for it. Thankfully, it lived up to expectations. I don't know why one reviewer had problems with the screws? It can be a little trickly to pull the screw bars out, once unscrewed, but a gentle tug with a set of plyers, does the trick just fine.BTW - I have plenty of watches and straps etc ( hobby ), so I am 'picky' with the quality of products, so for me to write up a positive review, it has to be GOOD qualitySometimes you get what you pay for. I've had 3rd party straps and most of the time they're not as good as the original manufacturer's straps. which is the case here. Fitting this to the Fenix 6 Pro is a breeze and took me all of 10 seconds, Once on, it's a really comfortable silicone that's stiff but not too stiff. The only thing I don't like is that these straps have 2 little loops for you to tuck the excess into once it's on your wrist, once of which has a little notch that is designed to clip into the holes in the strap and prevent the loop from moving up and down the strap as you move. I personally find them tricky to adjust but as I don't take the watch off very often, it's not a big deal.I can't attest to the longevity of this as I've only been wearing it a couple of weeks, but there's no way this strap is worth £40. You could buy 3 or 4 third party equivalents for the same price. I suppose if this strap lasts for the entire lifetime of the watch, it might be worth the price. If money is no object or if you're treating yourself (as I was), it's a great strap for your Fenix 6 Pro.This is a beautifully made strap, and it fits my Fenix 3 Sapphire perfectly. It is a very expensive strap, and I thought long and hard about whether to buy it. My Fenix came with a metal strap, but apart from removing complete segments it is not minutely adjustable. Also, the Fenix 3 metal strap is no good for serious running as it flops about too much and on half-marathons it chafes my wrist badly. It also needs two screwdrivers to swap back and forth between the rubber strap for running and the metal strap for every day use which is a real pain.My solution is this Fenix 5 26mm strap, which is quick-release and with the purchase of a new Fenix 5 26mm rubber strap I can swap to my heart's content. The new metal strap is nice and smart, it's got minute adjustment too so it's easy to get it exactly right, even on small wrists, and the release mechanism is a bit easier than the old Fenix 3 strap. The only negative is that getting the pins out, even with a special tool, is really difficult as there's a floating inner sleeve that the pin is gripped by. I ended up using a thin panel pin to push it out properly. Hopefully it's a one-time job, but it is worth getting it right and not damaging the strap. In conclusion, it's better than the Fenix 3 strap, and I can quickly swap it with the rubber strap. If you have a Fenix 3 and don't want to upgrade to the 5, this strap is a great purchase.
