This is my second microfleece beanie, besides beanies of other materials. I found the microfleece to be the most desirable material for the cold weather clothing.Actual beanie I received has a shallower cylinder part (as oppose to the dome part) than the one in the photo. This probably means it's less deep but still has the extra amount to fold the bottom in double layer. I have about the medium size head (I think it's 22" around) and the cap fits comfortably, not too tight or too loose.The material is not the thickest microfleece which can be both good or bad depends on the occasion. My another microfleece beanie is thicker, so I use this one for little warmer weather. They compliment each other quite well.From my past experience with microfleece, they last for a long time. And for the price, you can't beat the deal.
