This is a beautiful watch! It's got a leather strap with very light texture and a satiney finish. The case is gold with a white dial and black hash marks at the numbers. The hands are long, tapered swords in black for the minute and hour, with a second hand that is double-sided - and the sides are equal length. This is a cool design element, but it might be a little frustrating if you are particular about wanting to know when your minute starts and ends by looking at the second hand. For example, if you were trying to time something by the second hand and happened to look away, you wouldn't have any way of knowing if 30 or 60 or 90 seconds had passed, because they would all look the same.Comes in a nice box for gifting or storage.
